Project Question: My son has to do a science project. He is in the 6th grade. They have to choose a project to make that will make their life easier. They were told to choose something they hate to do and come up with something to make it easier. We need some ideas.

My son is in the 6th grade and has been asked to make a science project that would make his life easier. He was told to think of something he hates to do and find a way to make it better. I can not think of anything. Please help.

It's hard from me to remember back to the time when my son was in 6th grade, and even harder for me to remember when I was that age. But I know there were a lot of things I that could have made our lives simpler and easier. In my case, technology has provided most of them by now.

They are grouped here by technical areas of interest. Perhaps you and your son could go through this list together and you might find something that interests him.

Here, your son will be asked a number a questions about things he likes and dislikes. It uses that information to identify a number of projects described on the Science Buddies web site, that might interest him.
