Physics is a VERY broad typic. What sub-areas are you interested in learning more about? What math courses have you taken? The answers to the above questions will help us make some recommendations.

harshaohri,

Sorry that you haven't been getting more replies, but I think there are a couple of things going on: (1) this forum's purpose is to help students design science experiments, although we sometimes address related questions as time permits; (2) we still don't have a very good idea of what topics within math and physics you're interested in. As Craig says, both are very broad. I know that IIT is a college, but I don't know what level of math you might be taking there: differential or integral calculus? differental equations? linear algebra? All of those are important topics for college-level physics. Also, I don't understand whether you mean that you are interested in light, electricity, and magnetism or want to avoid those topics.

My recommendation is that you first take a look at Hyperphysics and Mathworld. Both of these are wiki-like in that there will be links to related topics, but because they are specific to physics and math they are organized in a way that will make it easier for you to see the hierarchy of different topics. When you find topics you're interested in, you'll be able to see what background knowledge you need to understand them. Then you can use Google or another search engine to search for those terms; looking at Wikipedia entries (and the websites they cite!) would also be helpful.

A big part of the process of learning physics, especially at the high-school/ introductory college level, is doing a lot of problems. There are links to some online physics texts and problems in this post in another thread:
