bioremediation
hiiiiiiii i m recently working on biosorption of heavy metals................i have isolated 10 isolates of bacteria, n screening them for the resistant bacteria................. wht is d ideal capacity of bacteria to tolerate heavy metals like cobalt , copper and nickel.??

co-immobilisation technique
what is d procedure to co-immobilise the two organisms , for absorbing heavy metals??? plz do reply with the link or appropriate procedure.........thanking you.

Hi,
The ability of microorganisms to absorb such heavy metals really varies a lot. However, there are a lot of projects which you can check the procedures of in order to give you some insight into what scales and quantities you should use in your own project:

The tolerance would depend on the species, and would definitely be something of interest to you to test and analyze in your project! Hope this helps!
