Neurologist Speaking!!! HELP!

Post by Jonathan_ »

HELP!!!!

I need help on an idea for my Neurologist job. I have an idea being that it has to do with the brain's behavior to different things, except I don't know! So can you give me some help on a thing to do or advice?

It just can't be something to do with music, probably. Maybe with attention, though.

Hi Jonathan - If I understand your question, you're working on a project that has to do with neurology and neurologists as an occupation, and you need to find a science project that would be relevant?

There are many projects on the Science Buddies site that might tie in, depending on your assignment. Here are just a few that you might look over:

No Pain, Lots of Game: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p016.shtml
Are You Left or Right Sided?: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p007.shtml
Pinocchio's Arm: A Lie Detector Test: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p019.shtml
What Conflicting Mental Tasks Reveal About Thinking: The Stroop Effect: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p027.shtml
Multitasking: Brain Drain or Boost in Efficiency?: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p022.shtml

The first two are not necessarily the right difficulty level for your grade level, but you might look over the variations and see if there is a way to build upon one of the ideas, if either is of interest.

For additional information on neurology, you may want to look at our profile on neurologists in the Careers in Science section: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... c001.shtml
