HELP PLEASE! I have a question about ordering E.COLI

Hello. I need to know : Should I order E.Coli to my house and then take it to a lab, or FIND a lab and ship it directly to the Lab?

AND I NEED HELP FINDING A LAB Near me!

When I was in middle school I performed an experiment in which I used E. coli. I was also having trouble ordering the bacteria, but I asked my local hospital's microbiology lab if they could help. It turned out that they had stock cultures of the bacteria that they used for quality control, and they were happy to let me use some for my experiment. They also allowed me access to their incubator and provided me with advice on my project. I would definitely advise first finding a lab to perform your experiment, and then proceeding to acquire the bacteria. Try and ask at your local hospital, or maybe at a community college or an university near you.
