colony morphology
Does anyone know the colony morphology (size shape odor color margins) of shigella flexneri and bacillis subtilis? I grew them and want to know what the norm is and cannot find it in any of my books. Thank You in advance!!

Hi curiousgeorge!
I found these pages:
http://www.life.umd.edu/classroom/bsci4 ... iaceae.htm
http://faculty.sgc.edu/cperkins/2215/ex ... hology.doc
You may also find good pictures by searching Google for "colonymorphology shigella flexneri", clicking search, and then clicking on images.
