Which animal do you think has the best camouflage? Which animal do you think has the least camouflage abilities? What is the largest animal with camouflage?

Hi Zachary,

An interesting topic! What, exactly, are you having trouble with; and what would you like us to help you with? I'm not sure based on your questions below. Are you having problems in your research or setting up a test? Please provide more information.

Good luck!

Hey there!

Yes this sounds like an interesting topic but you definitely want to think about the things the previous expert mentioned...
But it is difficult to answer which animal has the best/worst camouflage abilities...it is very subjective and can vary depending on people's opinions but here is a list of some of the best camouflaged animals in the world: http://www.thenatureanimals.com/2010/03 ... world.html

If you have more questions post again!

Hello!

I think that this sounds like a very interesting idea. Because "the best camouflaged" is not very objective, it can vary based on who is asking the question (just like the last expert said), I think that you should attempt to create a project that objectively tests the level of camouflage. Perhaps you can take a few animals that you think are well camouflaged (or their pictures if you don't have access to them), and place them in a cage full of natural foliage. Then you can ask some friends or your parents which animals they can see and which animals are too well camouflaged for them to identify. This way you can scientifically test which animal's camouflage is the best suited for a certain background.

Hope your project goes great!
