Hi,

Here is a project idea that discusses beans, their fiber and carbohydrate:

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p026.shtml

You can find out about fiber and carbohydrate values for beans by doing a google search. One such site is:

http://www.diethealthclub.com/askquesti ... nd-do.html

Good luck!

Hi,

I am unsure what you need to know about dietary fiber and beans. Here is a site that defines dietary fiber and talks a little about what it is good for:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rls= ... d=0CBoQkAE

Here is a site from the Mayo Clinic that talks about different fiber types and what they are good for:

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/fiber/NU00033

Here is another site with information on dietary fiber, including how much you need and how much is in various foods:

http://www.ext.colostate.edu/pubs/foodnut/09333.html

I hope this fills in the information you are looking for. If you still have questions you might try going to www.google.com and typing in your question in their search box. Usually you will find the answer you need in the first page or so of search results.
