I procrastinated and held it off. A really nice "expert" helped me... But I still need help!!! Waiting for barretttomlinson to respond. But I dont know when he will get back to me... my project is completly due dec. 10th...
Ok so I took the idea of the vitamin C and the bell peppers... and I researched some and found that vitamin C helps prevent cancer. SO i decided i wanted to incorporate that into my project. So, using a starch indicator, i want to test different fruits and vegetables ( 5 total including bell peppers) for the levels of vitamin C. But, I still cannot grasp how i can fit this into a project. Which fruit or vegetable best helps to prevent cancer. Well how do i find out how much vitamin c is needed to have an effect on the prevention of cancer.. PLEASE help me organize this or something. My project is due the 10th of december.

someone please help! i am in Marine Biology. I havent done a science fair project since 8th grade. I had to choose a good project. But I am having trouble formulating my whole project... like i have it somewhat pictured in the back of my head. but i still cant connect my thoughts! please someone help!!

It sounds like you have two very different questions that you are trying to connect:
(1) Which fruit or vegetable has the most Vitamin C?
(2) What are the effects of Vitamin C on cancer?
Given your deadline, I think you should focus on the first question. Perhaps you can experiment with the second question for your next science project.
Do you have a way to measure the amount of Vitamin C in your fruits and veggies? Based on your background research, do you have a hypothesis as to which fruit or veggie will contain the most Vitamin C?
