Converting speed of light
I was doing research for my project, and I need to convert the speed of light from 2.99792458 * 10^8 meters per second to meters per hour. I don't know where I can find a calculator that can do this, or what equation I should use

Re: Converting speed of light
Since there are 3600 seconds in an hour, simply multiply the number in meters per second by 3600. You can do that without a calulator.

Re: Converting speed of light
When I was a few years older than you, we were taught a technique called dimensional analysis, and it's so helpful that I still use it more than ten years later. jackharrar's answer is an example of this approach, but if you read about it you'll be able to solve all sorts of similar problems on your own:

Re: Converting speed of light
Awesome. I'll give both attempts a shot. Thanks guys!
