Science Fair Interview with an Expert

Post by 10samster24 »

Hi. I am participating in my school's Science Fair, and I need to conduct an interview with an expert on my topic (botany). My research question is: What effect does the color of LED lights have on the growth of bean plants? Can an expert with at least one year of experience or college related to my topic answer the following questions? Thank you for your help. (Remember to include your name and title somewhere in your reply.)

1. When did you first learn about botany?

2. Could you please tell me what motivated you to study botany?

3. What are some of the most important things you have learned about botany?

4. Why do you think this topic is is important, useful, or interesting?

5. What practical applications have you found for botany?

6. What are some things to consider while performing a botany experiment?

7. What are some scientific advances that botanists have made?

Hi,

Please read the information on interviews on the science buddies website.

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... =33&t=5681

Since the experts on this forum cannot post our institution or title, you might want to ask your teacher to suggestions on whom to contact. Have you tried contacting the botany department at a local university, for example?

I am not a botanist, but I will try to answer your questions if you cannot find a local botanist that can help you.

What are you planning to do your for your science project?
