- Project Question: I need to know for my specific project if i need to do more then one trial and if i do what do i need to repeat? My project is seeing out of 4 different homemade perfumes which of them do males prefer over females? my mom brought the perfumes to her office and had coworkers smell them and write down there gender and which they liked best
- Project Due Date: Jan. 5th 2011
- Project Status: I am conducting my experiment

Are multiple trials necessary for EVERY science project?

Re: MULTIPLE TRIALS.
They are not necessary unless your instructor specifically says so. However, multiple trials are always favorable just to see if your results the first time are consistent.

We do multiple trials to ensure the validity of our results; we want to be sure that our results are not caused by events outside of the experiment. Multiple trials are always encouraged if you have the time and resources.
