Project Question: Growing Glow in the Dark Alum Crystals: Using the inside fluid from highlighter pens with water and with vinegar to determine which ones glow brighter in the dark or under black light.

For my project I am growing glow-in-the-dark crystals using Alum. Can you please answer the following interview questions for me?

a. When did you first learn about this topic?
b. Could you please tell me what motivated you to study the topic?
c. What are some of the most important things you have learned about this topic?
d. Why do you think this topic is important, useful, or interesting?
e. What practical applications have you found for this topic?
f. Other than water and vinegar what other solutions could I use to grow the crystals?
g. I plan to mix the inside of highlighter pens into the solutions to make the crytals glow. What other products could I use to create the "glow"?
