Project Question: What should I do for my project? I love chemistry and biology and I want to be a molecular biologist. I also love robotics and programming, what should I do?

Need a title for science project!! ASAP

Post by Hannahbanana3197 »

My project is making a solar-powered desalination system, but I have no idea what the question/title should be for my board. MY original idea was "What materials, can be used to make the best desalination system?" Now I was thinking.. "Is is possible to make a sucessful desalination system, and make saltwater potable?" Is this good or do you have something better?? Thanks for your input :)

Selecting a title for a science project is a very personal thing.

As a person who frequently judges science fair projects, I can tell you what I like to see. I don't like "cute" project titles. I like a title that tells me what the project is about. If your project puts a special focus on the materials used in building a desalination system, then the one title you proposed, "What materials, can be used to make the best desalination system?" would be a good one.

It seems what makes your project special is that you are relying on solar energy to desalinate the water. I think this is a key element that should be in your title.

But again, it's your project. Pick a title that makes you feel good.

And have fun!!!

ok, that was what i thought i would do first.. but now since we have been having rainy weather in california i dont know if i can do the solar powered idea... maybe heat powered
Do you think this would work?
