Hi erinmac01,

That's great that you are interested in doing research on something that you care about - choosing the right topic is the first step towards success. Some of the most successful scientists are those who've studied things that directly affect them or their family and friends. Project ideas can come from looking through what has been written already about orthostatic hypotension in children and adolescents (Google Scholar/PubMed/etc): http://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en ... 5&as_vis=0. Which project you pursue will depend upon what you are most interested in. Are you looking to find ways to relieve symptoms, or do a wide epidemiological study (e.g. are certain children more apt to have O.H. than others, based upon family history, region, ethnicity, etc)? Hopefully this will help direct you. Please feel free to post any follow-up comments or questions.

Best,
Shiv
