Re: animal training
Hi!
I found a great online resource for you to look through:

In terms of your specific questions, I am not sure if there is only single best or worst way to train animals. Each animal trainer will often tell you something different, and many of them use different methods to train their animals. Also keep in mind that animal trainers have different purposes in mind, whether it is to train competitive race animals, or to train animals around the house. Trainers often rely on the system of reward and punishment, so if the animal does something "right" or what the trainer deems to be satisfactory, the animal will often get a treat, usually something tasty! I am not aware of one single trick that most house pets learn to do, but it might be interesting to check out this website with a list of many of the most common dog tricks!
