Wire Supplies for Cool Junctions Project
Hi, I am trying to find out where to get wire for the "Cool Junctions" project. Wired suggested is iron, copper and constantan, aluminum. I don't really have a clue as to what type of wire to get from where. Time is a running short here! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Wire Supplies for Cool Junctions Project
Hello jgalt1,
I think the best place to get a small quantity of common wire is a local hardware store. They usually have copper, brass, aluminum, and steel. For the special wire used in thermocouples, the link listed in the project writeup is best. The direct link to their small spools of wire is (http://www.omega.com/ppt/pptsc.asp?ref=SPIR&Nav=temh02).

Re: Wire Supplies for Cool Junctions Project
Thanks, I will check lowes/home depot today. I hope that works cause online I mostly see expensive pre-fabricated thermocouple wire.
