Hello!
What type of gel are you running? Have you double-checked you are adding the correct amount of reagents to the gel mix?

Hello cutiepii101,
I would also check to see if the kit you are using (or the individual ingredients) have an expiration date. Agarose (the main component of the gel you are running) can and does go bad when it gets old.
