Can't find ANY related research material.

I can't find any information on my science fair topic. Everything I find is too different from my science fair project to use as research material. I think I may have been the first person ever to do my science fair project, which seems really weird, because it is such a simple project.

Here is a scientific study examining the relationship between air temperature and soil temperature. You can use this as background, and also look at the references cited by the authors.

Have you tried to look at books in your local library? The librarians there will most likely be more than helpful in finding any background research. If all you've looked at is on the internet, you might want to try that.
