archimedes screw project

Post by nicholas8 »

I am thinking about doing my science fair project about Archimedes screw. How can it be a controlled experiment? Also, what would be a catchy title? Thanks!

Hello nicholas8,

You could create a controlled experiment by testing a screw under different conditions with one condition considered the control, or you could compare the screw pump with other pump types.

Sceince Budddies has a project description about an Archimedes screw at https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p039.shtml

A title? That's not my strength, but how about "A circular staircase for water."

Good luck, WW
