hey, Iam working on a project to generate electricity from egg shells.
I'll convert the CaCO3 present in them to CaCl2..
how to obtain electricity from an aqueous solution of cacl2??
If iam using the method of electrolysis, what should be taken as the anode and cathode??
my project is due 17th of march..
thanks:)
Need help in electrochemistry project!!!!

Hello samyuktha,
I don't understand the process you are trying to set up. Can you supply a link to some reference on what you want to do? It is not at all obvious why you want to convert the calcium carbonate to calcium chloride.
Please supply more information, WW
