Re: breath of life .... lung capacity
Hi,
I found some information to help you by searching "human lung capacity" and "human lung capcity age" in Google and similar search engines. There is some men vs women info in the Wikipedia article (which shows it's references at the bottom of their page). Wiki is generally not a good reference, but the page often helps lead in the right direction.
One of the most complete lung capacity websites I found was affiliated with lance Armstrong:
http://www.livestrong.com/lung-capacity/
And I also liked this original paper:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1357051/
I hope that helped you find what you were looking for.
