Hi,

I would write about the actual materials you used. If you feel it is needed, you can have a few sentences explaining why ckose these materials over other (more expensive) options. If you need more uidance, tell us a little more about what you did and the expensive and cheap materials and we'll help more.

Good luck!

Hi-

Like Tonya mentioned, it would be great if you could provide us with a little more background about your project.

Science Buddies actually provides a helpful guideline on how to write a research paper(https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... aper.shtml).

For the methodology section, you definitely have to mention what materials and methods you actually used in your experiment.
I suggest you to briefly mention the alternative materials that can be used in the future in the "Conclusion/Future" or a separate "future" section of your paper/display board.

Hope this helps :)
