Hi!

This seems to be an interesting question. Also, no need to worry about narrowing down your question. This question seems fine. Here are some site that might help ( I hope they are easy to understand):

1.https://www.sciencebuddies.org/mentorin ... ?from=Home
2. http://www.nwabr.org/education/articles ... iculum.doc
3. http://www.usc.edu/CSSF/History/2003/Projects/J1408.pdf

I hope these sites help especially the first one. :D

Hi ashley2,

This sounds like a very interesting project.

Try going to scholar.google.com. In the search bar, type in your question "Effect of Alcohol on Daphnia Magna" and do the same for tobacco. I found an overflow of PDF files on your topic. Keep in mind that these are published science journals, and that you are to come up with your own project.

Try visiting a local university library if it is open to the public. They are bound to have science journals.

I'm not very clear on how you want to narrow your question. As Jessica said, it seems fine!

I hope this helps!

Good luck,

Alcohol and tobacco project

Post by donnahardy2 »

Hi Ashley,

It's against the rules to do a project using anything that it is illegal for you to have, including alcohol and tobacco. You project would be disqualified from the science fair. So, you need to change your topic. What was the purpose of your project? Perhaps we can help you think of something similar to do, but not with alcohol or tobacco.
