My science fair project is about fashion trends. And how someone is dressed can affect a strangers answer when you ask the what time it is. What i want to know is how should i set up this project? What variables should i use for my graph? And is there anything else that i should add to this project? Help is always appreciated
-Thankyou !

Hi ChonnyB,
Welcome to Science Buddies! You have a very interesting project idea. It is out of the area of my expertise, but I would like to offer you some initial advice that will hopefully be supplemented by advice from other experts.
Here is some general advice for designing a study on human behavior: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... rvey.shtml
Here is a Science Buddies project that looks at color preference in relation to fine motor skills: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... ml#summary. Though this is not exactly what you are doing, I think the background and some of the parts of the project may help you in designing yours.
The procedure for this Science Buddies project may also help you with your experimental design: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... #procedure
Also, it may be helpful to take a look at the Science Buddies advice for developing a good survey when conducting behavioral experiments: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... rvey.shtml
I hope this helps. Please post again if you have more questions along the way.
