Re: stress levels
Hi delores7,
What an interesting idea! How would you use the infrared camera to measure stress? I am familiar with using infrared cameras to look at thermoregulation (regulation of body temperature), because they show surface temperature. I have never heard of them being used to show stress. Will you be looking for particular temperature changes or patterns associated with stress?
Infrared cameras are generally expensive pieces of equipment. You might try contacting a local research lab or university lab in which the scientists study thermal changes. Some engineers also use infrared cameras to detect leaks and weak points in buildings. The military also uses infrared technology for night-vision goggles.
I hope this helps you with your search. Please post again (in this same thread) if you have more questions.
