I am attempting to do a dance pad project and need some guidance.
Where would I go to find answers to the following questions:
How much force is needed to activate an average electrical circuit switch?
What is the maximum force that can activate an electrical circuit without breaking it?

Re: Dance Pad Project
Hello rdtha,
Electrical switches are made in many, many different sizes, shapes, and requiring a wide range of activating forces. You can browse http://www.mouser.com/Electromechanical ... /_/N-5g2h/ to see some of the different types.
If you provide a description of how you wish to use the switch, maybe I could provide more help.
Good luck, WW
