Re: NEED REASEARCH !!!!
I'm sorry... just because you left your work up until the last minute doesn't mean you get a free pass and can have someone else do the work for you. Neither does repeating "plz" a dozen times convince anyone to help you more. Please spend a few minutes to explain what your project is, what your hypothesis is, and what type of research you are looking for.k28 wrote:plz help me i need research for a cardboard boat with alcohol-powered engineplz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz HELP

As a starting point try searching on Google for:
"alcohol powered engine"
"cardboard boats"
It took me less than 2 mins to type in either search phrase and I found 3 useful looking websites on the first page for both. I encourage you to take a few minutes to just type in the search term yourself and get the research you need.

Surface Tension power
k28,
I believe you are asking for help regarding surface tension experiments?
If so, here is one link that may give you some ideas:
http://homeschooling.about.com/library/uc3sciclub12.htm
As you will see at that website, you should develop an hypothis (or several) that you may test with your experimental boat. BTW, you might try using two materials together to see if they help or hurt each other's action.

Ah... a surface tension powered boat. When we did this, we used soap most of the time. Thanks for the added explanation. So you should look up "surface tension" and "soap boat" here are some links that I found.k28 wrote:my boat will be made of cardboard and have a alcohol drop engine the boat will be flat and will sortta look like this...

If you read down a page or two you will find a paragraph on "Surfactant powered boats" which is what you want to learn about.
