My multimeter is reading the batery but not the liquids. PLEASE HELP

carlosly - What range do you have th meter set to? When you say it is reading the battery voltage is it set to DC volts ith the probes attached directly to the battery terminal? The measuements using the sensor in the liquid would be made with the meter set to DC milliamperes.
