hi, i am doing the experiment [ does your eye trick you?] and i am up to the analysis. my question is how cones cells react when seeing various colors afterimages?

Please go back and read the background second on this project guide again. It explains that after you have stared at a red object for a long time, the red cone cells will become fatigued, so when you shift your eyes to a white light, the image you see reflects the response of the remaining cone cells minus the color red. There’s more detail in the explanation that you can incorporate into your discussion.
There are 5 additional references at the bottom of the page that you can read through to obtain more information.
