im wondering if a science fair project about the 'functions of the eye, and how does the eye work?' are interesting enough.

Hi joannarc,
If you think this is interesting, then go for it! Science is all about exploration and if you're not interested in your project, then it might be difficult for you. Vision is one of our most important senses and there are a lot of different project ideas you can do. What interests you about this subject? First, I suggest you do some research on the eye and vision first, this may help you in designing a study; did you know that certain animals and people are color blind? How does that aid or hurt them? Or, that the eye is just an opening for light to reach the brain and that it is actually the brain that creates images? What happens to people when they have a stroke in the visual part of their brain? See...lots of ideas.
