Ideas for social ostracism

Post by haroro »

I am doing a project about ostracism, but I don't know what to test for. I simply don't want to be restricted in finding how social ostracism will influence a student's academic performance as well as hot it will affect a student' s mood. I want something that is much deeper; something that is complex but applicable. I have 4-5 months of time to do this experiment, so please recommends me something that is related to ostracism but complicated.

Hi haroro,

You have an interesting project idea! I recommend browsing the Science Buddies project ideas (https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... deas.shtml), especially those listed under Human Behavior and Sociology.

Perhaps you could see how social ostracism affects a student's interests. This is deeper than academic performance and mood, and will affect the activities he or she decides to join.

Please post again (in this same thread) if you have more questions.

Best,
Heather
