Project Question: My group and I finished the project "How Are Antibodies Used For Blood Typing?", which uses anti-A and anti-B serums to test for blood types. We are currently completing the report on it, but we aren't sure what to list as the control of the experiment; is there a control and what would it be?
Project Due Date: 4/18/13
Project Status: I am finished with my experiment and analyzing the data

In the "How are Antibodies used for Blood Typing" experiment, my group and I have been debating on what a control would be, if there even is one. In addition, we were wondering how much background information would be necessary to add in the conclusion. Thank you for your time!

Hi,

If you followed the procedure just like it is outlined here:
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... #procedure
then there are only 3 experimental samples and no controls. If you had a "sample" that was known positive for the A reaction, that would be your "A positive control". Etc.. It doesn't look like you had that, right?

The conclusion needs no background info. Give it all in the background. You should summarize the overall project, like it says here:
