They have inexpensive live c. elegans along with the nematode growth agar: http://www.carolina.com/catalog/search- ... SearchForm

and the E. coli to feed them: http://www.carolina.com/catalog/search- ... SearchForm

The cost of everything should be less than fifty dollars.
