Experiments with electrical Capacitors
I was learning about electrical engineering and one of the terms I came across was capacitors. I heard capacitors could be a good alternative for batteries. I am looking for a Project Idea I could attempt with Capacitors, maybe something that could benefit people. Please Help.

Re: Experiments with electrical Capacitors
Hi Gloken -
Its true that Capacitors can be used to store electrical energy but only for short periods of time compared to batteries. An example of the use of capacitors to store energy is in DVD recorders / players where they can allow the memory to keep the programming info during a short power outage for a few minutes. I hope this example might assist you in determining other applications for your project.
