13082000 - I'm not sure what you are referring to as the 'weights' used in creating an art robot. The experiments in the Science Buddies project guide describe a 'wobbly' robot that uses an eccentric weight driven by a motor that moves the robot and attached markers across the paper. The 'eccentric' moves the markers in somewhat random patterns and creates original art. If that is what you are asking, it becomes a bit of an experimentation with the strength and speed of the motor you are using, and trying different weights or displacements (distance from the motor shaft) to get the effect you want. Review the project guide for your initial setup.
