my purpose and hypothesis

Post by pete »

The purpose of this project is to learn which Granny Smith apple oxidizes more quickly than others. Through exprimentaition, it will be determined ifthe sweetness and bitterness of the apples cause oxidation to occur more quickly or slowly. The discovery of weather the level of Vitamin C and the pH level of the solution make a difference process of an apple will be another component of the purpose of the sciecnific exploration. that was my purpose please tell me if it good or not.

this is my hypothesis please tell me if it is good. here it is: If you put lemon juice on an apple, it will then prevent the apple from turning brown. It is believed this because the high levels of acids in the lemons slow down the process of oxidation of an apple. I anticipate that other solutions with high acids levels will also affect the oxidation process of an apple. Though various experiments, it is probable to predict that apples palced in hot water will oxidize at a faster rate than apples placed in cold water. THis forsight is based on the cooking fact that apples get softer more rapidly when placed in hot water than when placed in cold water.

hope you like both of my purpose and my hypothesis that i wrote i hope i get really good ideas like from an expert. cheers[/b]

Hi!

I think that your purpose is fine. However, I'm not absolutely sure about the hypothesis thought . My teachers just always had us write an "If..., then..." statement. We never had to include reasons why we thought this way. However, I may be wrong. If so, then I think that your hypothesis is okay.

You can look at this site for more clarification:

I hope I'm not confusing you
