Is there any science fair question that has to do with making a homemade dobsonian telescope and using it to do some research.

Hello and welcome to the forums!

There are a couple of ways to answer your question. A science fair project that is an "engineering" project might be to build a telescope. If you set goals such as the ability to image a specific astronomical object of known brightness, you can test your work to see if you've met your goal.

If you have a telescope, you could instead do a science fair "science" project to research a particular astronomical topic.
