I apologize if this is the wrong forum to post this in but I didn't see anything that fit my question. This is the category my project is on.
I was wondering if anyone had a good example of a research plan. I tend to be overly detailed (sometimes to my own demise) and it helps to see an example so I have a reference of what to go by. Tips on it are welcome too.

The Science Buddies website includes a lot of information and help with this under the Science Fair Project Guide section, including a sample final report. You can find the link to this here: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... tml#sample
In general, more details is better in these reports and when describing your experimental methods. It is much more common to have insufficient information than too much. Remember, someone should be able to perfectly replicate your findings by reading your report.
