Sucrose, glucose & fructose. uncovering hidden sugar infood
We are trying to test diabetic strips which is the first step in this project. We have tested two different brands of strips. Neither shows higher than scarce on the test. Is this sufficient for the remainder of the testing with the strips? Can you tell us if we are doing something incorrect on the testing. Thanks

Hi DaliahHannah,
The test strips will not read high levels of glucose unless you measure something that has a lot of glucose in it. So, did you test the strips using the glucose dilution series test outlined in the procedure of the Project Idea? If so, what glucose tablets did you use? The more details you can provide, the more we'll be able to help you.
