Getting Participants
I am doing a human behavior experiment and I'm having trouble getting participants. I did all my family members but I still need more. How do I convince people to do my test? Thanks!

Re: Getting Participants
Hi,
Have you tried asking one of your science teachers, or fellow classmates? I am sure your science teacher would be interested in participating. I am curious, what does your project involve? Maybe you could explain how cool your project is and make it sound interesting to friends. If this doesn't work, another good way to get participants is to offer some sort of incentive, maybe cookies? I know the struggle of not getting enough people to volunteer for something but when food is involved, they seem to change their mind
.
I am sorry I couldn't be more helpful, but usually science related questions are answered here. Good luck, and keep asking people to participate!

Re: Getting Participants
Hi alex200106,
I agree with gmm15 that providing an incentive is the best way to get participants. Sweets like cookies or candy are usually a good way to motivate people.
Good luck, and please let us know if you were able to get more participants!
Heather
