- Project Question: I am doing an experiment involving yeast cells and serval types of radiaton. I need help trying to show the difference from yeast before and after. How can I measure that so I could make a chart or graph using the data after I finsh the experiment. Also do yeast cells move under a microscope?
- Project Due Date: Tomorrow. I have all materials and begun it already
- Project Status: I am conducting my experiment
My science fair project: yeast and radiation
I am doing a science fair experiment testing yeast cells with several types of radiation. I am about to conduct my experiment but i dont know how to show how the yeast has changed in a scientific way so I can make a graph or chart. Can you help me find a way to show a way to show the change and put it in a graph? Also do yeast cells move under a microscpoe?

Re: My science fair project: yeast and radiation
It looks like you project may already have been due, but I will answer you question anyway. How do you hypothesis that the radiation will affect the yeast? Do you think it will be killed or changed in some other way? If the hypothesis is that it would be killed, you can just measure how many colonies you have before vs. after the radiation and plot the amounts on a bar graph.
