Indicator Solution

Post by alliecatt91 »

I am in need of a little help here. I procrastinated until the weekend before my science project is due and have come into a major problem. I do not know what a iodine ans starch-based vitamin C indicator solution is. I found this project on a college website, and it does not say how to make it or where to find it. Thanks so much for your help!

There are 2 indicators for vitamin C; starch-iodine and indophenol.

I don't think you can buy either indicator at a CVS; but you can make it.

Here is a link for the preparation of Vitamin C indicators.

Good Luck.
