Hello and welcome to the forums.

We're happy to help, but I will need some more information. For instance, I'm not sure what a "battery powered generator" is, as batteries are a source of electrical power all by themselves.

A good way to compare generators is to look at their output into a fixed load. I would be happy to help you define what resistance load makes sense if you could give me some parameters about your solar generator.

Either way, you have a dependent variable (generator output power) versus what independent variables? You have to define similar inputs to each generator type to do a comparison.

Please let us know more information so we can help you.
Best, Keith

Hello

I wanted to make a wooded generator for my science project, but my teacher told me to compare a solar powered generator to a battery powered one. So I guess I am confused...but I will meet with my teacher to get clarification. I really appreciate your help and will repost when I have further instructions

Thank you
