I am told to make a radio receiver and transmitter, for transmitting songs over 3 metres, using minimum circuit as possible. The radio must use the frequency of 100 Mhz.please help me to make this as quick as possible.I have studied about rc,lcr circuits, resonance, working of tv,radio, and I have also some previous practical experience.plz help me fast. The transmitter must use only 100 Mhz channel, while the receiver must tune into all channels between 88 to 108 Mhz.plz help me fast,my exam starts from 7th January.

Soham Mitra - This seems like a somewhat challenging project in that both the transmitter and receiver must be constructed. Your reference to 88-108 MHz suggests that it is expected to be an FM transmitter and receiver as well. There are many circuit diagrams for simple FM transmitters, often referred to as 'wireless microphones', but I think a simple FM receiver capable of tuning and receiving standard FM broadcasts in the US will be much more challenging. There are many references you may find on the web, but I suggest that you discuss this at more length with your adviser as to whether this is what they, in fact, expect you to do.

Thank you for your concern.I asked my advisor, they both must be different models, one for transmitting, one for receiving. But in a country like India,fm is not at all a challenging thing. There are fms everywhere home, car, phone, etc.
Fm is very common. That is why fm is recommended. The receiver is the more important and extremely urgent, but the transmitter can be thought later on.I googled on many sites but most of the designs are faulty and not working.Hope it helps ! Someone plz help me out quick ,I am in deep trouble.

Making an FM receiver, especially a tunable one, is not a simple project the way making an AM crystal radio is.

However, it's not beyond the capabilities of an enterprising person. You need to find a schematic online that uses components that you have access to, though. http://circuit-zone.com/?cat=fm_radio_receivers is one example of a place to find schematics for a receiver online. There are similar sites for transmitter schematics that can be found by searching for "diy fm transmitter".
