Project Question: I am doing a science project on submarines and how they can be made better to go deeper into the sea. I am wondering what new innovations have been discovered and used to help with this topic.
Project Due Date: I would like to complete this project today, but tomorrow is when this part of the project is due.

Submarines

I am doing a science project and I need to find out what new innovations have been discovered and are being applied to the nautical world, more specifically, submarines.

Also, With the new innovation, how far would the submarine travel under the sea than with previous versions?

Mr-Awesome - This is a very interesting topic, although I'm not sure how it becomes a science project. It sounds like more of an interesting scientific report. There are many aspects of submarine technology advancements over time, so perhaps a time-line covering different aspects would be an approach. Things that could be researched is ability to remain submerged for long periods and what the real limitations are. Propulsion systems. Advancements in materials used to construct submarines and how they relate to depth limits. Detectability, using magnetic anomaly or acoustic sensors. There is much to be discovered. Good luck, sorry you don't have more time to do a first rate job.
