Red-eared slider turtles for a science project

Post by fishman »

I am looking for papers related to eye sight capacity for red-eared slider turtles. I'd like to find out which colors they are able to see and distinguish.
Thanks for your help

Fishman, where have you looked? Have you tried searching scholar.google.com or Askjeeves.com or dogpile.com? Use a phrase like "slider turtles eye sight."

Or have you tried going to (or looking for online access) to a university library? or your own local library? Ask a librarian there to help you as what you are asking could have limited information.

You might also broaden your research to consider eyesight capability in any turtle and then with your experimentation you could build on that knowledge.

Keep us posted how you are doing!
