Maintaining and growing C. Elegans

Post by deleted-228597 »

Is there a good amount of C. Elegans that should be used too increase the rate of mutated genes in the C. Elegans? Also, is there a specific way of maintaining thier growth rate and keeping them alive. Do they need to be grown on Petri dishes or other means of containers?

Hi, I have found this handbook for the c. elegans culture: http://www.wormbook.org/chapters/www_st ... ntain.html

About the mutagens question - did you try searching the tearms "c. elegans mutagenesis"? I think you will find what you are looking for, but if not, please let me know in this post!
