Project Question: Generating electricity from the movement of our shoe. from pushing and relaxation of the shoe as we walk... The idea behind this is: as we walk and press the the shoe as small plate goes down and which is in turn attached to a small but strong magnets ,which will move up and down(between the two Copper insulated coil) as we push, the magnet is joint to the moving by some mechanism which will make it move UP and DOWN more faster(as fast as it could) I am not able to design that mechanism.

I am planning to generate electricity from the pushing force on the shoes as we walk. My approach goes as follows:
1) The inner shoe sole is attached to a metal plate.(may be continuous or separated)
2) the front part and the rear part are connected to a mechanism (assume for it to be something mechanical){these two mechanism are joined to magnet as follows:}
3) This mechanism is attached to a small magnet which will move up and down between two Copper Insulated coil. Due two which electricity is generated inside the coils.
My only question is how to design that mechanism with the help of some mechanical movements. The description of the Mechanism is as follows:
1) as we push the plate down the mechanism must allow the magnet to move up and down very fast and and only with small force so as to generate maximum electricity as possible.
If not understood please reply.....BUT PLEASE DO HELP

sanket bagujar - You seem to understand how magnetism and coils acted on by magnetic fields generate electricity. There have been many thoughts about generating electricity as a by-product of walking. Your idea has technical merit, but seems very complicated in that the movement, or displacement of the plates inside the shoe, is very small. That would suggest that the output, if you could get the coils somehow mechanically placed would be very slight. Others have suggested piezoelectric transducers, but while they may create large peaks in voltage, produce nil current, therefore no power. Have you considered something like a roller skate that could be connected with a rotary generating source, like a DC motor or bicycle generator, to produce more significant output. I think the attempt to use the flex of the sole, or displacement of the plates invites a great mechanical design problem to overcome.
