Is a cell phone microscope the same as a regular lab microscope?

Hi Cisco 23 -
A cell phone camera can be used as a microscope if it has ZOOM capability. However, most cell phones cannot zoom anywhere near what can be achieved with a lab microscope. This would limit a cell phone's capability to be used as a microscope. I hope that helps.
